We interrupt your regular Somewear viewing to bring your attention to the opportunity to shop absolutely guilt-free. Whaaat?! Like most people last year, I was shocked to see the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. It’s months on and the people are still nowhere near back to normal. So what to do? Put fashion to good use! Today kicks off a project very close to my heart: Fashion & Art for Haiyan, a charity pop-up store and art auction at Blank Space Gallery in Sydney’s Surry Hills. Labels such as Zanerobe, Valerie Tolosa, Urge footwear and more have donated pieces to the sale and 100% of the proceeds go to World Vision/Help After Haiyan Project. The best bit? You decide how much you pay. That’s right, either pay $10, $20, or $30 for an item of clothing or a pair of shoes. It’s up to you! Check it out from Jan 14-21, 11am-7pm at Blank Space Gallery, 374 Surry Hills. Drop in and say hi!
